I am looking for an #alternative to MS 365 email. Partner support is required. The data can be in the cloud, but it must be compatible with the desktop client. In addition, the client must be Linux. Which provider can I consider with over 1200 users? Next is to replace Teams and Office and switch to a Linux desktop

The whole thing is planned as a test first. A small introduction should be possible with the solution

There are a lot of e-Mail hosting providers. And most of them talk IMAP, that every mail client for linux and windows desktop speaks. So any of the linux (and windows and Mac) clients will be compatible. Just test, which of the clients you like best. Thunderbird is quiet good, works on all plattforms, but you can also have a look for Evolution which has a functionality compared to outlook. I would not choose tutanota, because they do not speak standard IMAP, and you are not free to choose the client you want. Even if they have a lot of benefits in the encryption. Maybe mailbox.org is also worth a look.

@sven222 Thank you. I know "mailbox.org", but it looks like it is not enough for bigger companies... Therefore, I'm looking for other companies.
The software part is easy, but the mail provider is hard to find.

Yes, I found the webside, but I'm not sure about the service. I didn't really understand how does will work and what kind of parameter are important for infrastructure and hardware and software....
